오늘 해 절반 가려지는 부분일식…다음은 10년 뒤에나

On this Sunday, much of the world will see the solar eclipse,... with the moon blocking out around half of the sun.
The eclipse can be seen in West Africa and Asia.
In central West Africa, China and Taiwan, in particular, it will look like a ring of fire the moon blocking out the center of the sun.
In South Korea,... according to the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute,... the eclipse will start at 3:53 PM.
It will reach its maximum at 5:02, with about 45 percent of the sun blocked out, and end a little after 6 PM.
Skies will be clear nationwide, so it should be easy to see.
If you miss this one, though, you'll have to wait ten years in South Korea to see the next one.
But be careful, because looking directly into the sun can damage your eyes.
Be sure to use a solar filter... or special glasses.
