South Korea reported 39 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, ...with most of the cases in Seoul and its surrounding areas.
All but five were community transmissions.
Of the new cases, ...15 were in Seoul, 13 in Gyeonggi-do Province ...and six in Incheon.
Total cases now at eleven-thousand-six-hundred-68.
There were no new deaths for the second straight day, ...keeping the death toll at two-hundred-73.
Nearly 29-thousand people are being tested.
At the 100th Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters meeting Friday,... the prime minister said the best vaccine is to abide by distancing in daily life measures.
He added that the measures should be abided by in the metropolitan area as it could pose a serious risk nationally.
