Thin, droplet-blocking masks to be sold online

Masks as thin as surgical dental masks that block spread of droplets will be sold online starting Friday.
According to industry sources, South Korean mask producer Welkeeps will start selling them through its online shop at about 40 U.S. cents a mask.
Ahead of the hot summer season, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety approved those thin masks with high air permeability on Monday.
The company said it plans to produce 200-thousand masks a day and will decide whether to expand production based on demand.
