Fresh COVID-19 outbreaks in countries considered to have made strides in flattening the curve have highlighted the risk of easing up on social distancing measures.
The Associated Press cited a surge in new cases over the weekend at slaughterhouses in Germany... as well as at multiple nightclubs in South Korea.
It stated both countries have conducted massive contact tracing and testing... and have been praised for their relatively low number of COVID-19 deaths.
The report said people are more likely to stop following guidelines once measures are relaxed... while the risk of a resurgence linger.
