As the world awaits news about the whereabouts of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, much attention had been focused on the founding anniversary of the regime's armed forces this Saturday.
However, the North Korean leader remained out of public sight today, with local media including the state-run Korean Central News Agency focusing their reports on the 88tth anniversary of the birth of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army that falls on April 25th.
Meanwhile, Reuters, quoting three anonymous sources familiar with the situation, reported that China has dispatched a team of medical personnel to North Korea to quote "advise on" Kim's health condition.
According to the report, the delegation, led by a senior member of the Chinese Communist Party's International Liaison Department, left Beijing for North Korea on Thursday.
Kim hasn't been seen in public for nearly two weeks, not appearing at large-scale events, raising speculation about his health condition.
