Zero exports of hydrogen fluoride from Japan to S. Korea in August

Not one single hydrogen fluoride was exported to South Korea from Japan in August.
This follows Tokyo's decision to restrict exports to Seoul... of three strategic materials used in semiconductors and displays.
The Japanese Finance Ministry's monthly trade statistics showed that exports of hydrogen fluoride to South Korea stood at zero for the month of August.
Tokyo had emphasized that it would allow exports to South Korea within 90 days if it does not find any problems with export requests.
Yet only one export request of the material has been allowed since July and such statistics are increasing worries for South Korean companies that rely on the materials.
