LG Display substitutes all Japanese liquid hydrogen fluoride with local material: Sources

South Korean firm LG Display has completely localized the liquid hydrogen fluoride used in its OLED and LCD panels.
According to industry sources on Monday,... the display maker has reportedly substituted all the hydrogen fluoride brought from Japan with material produced in Korea.
The company started using local materials last month.
Korean firms have reportedly been trying to localize materials or find alternative suppliers since Japan placed restrictions on the supply of three high-tech materials used in chips and displays to Seoul in July.
