S. Korea will toughen inspections of coal imported from Japan: Official

환경부 "일본 수입석탄재 관리 강화…전수조사 실시"

South Korea's environment ministry says it will inspect coal imports from Japan more thoroughly.
It says the stronger inspections are to check for high levels of radioactive materials and heavy metals in Japanese coal.
The quarterly inspection will change to an all-inclusive examination of every shipment of imported coal.
