With the ongoing boycott of Japanese goods and travel by South Koreans over Tokyo's trade restrictions,... Osaka's tourism industry is reportedly feeling the heat.
According to Japan's Kyodo News on Wednesday,... the number of South Korean tourists visiting Osaka between June and July was down more than 30 percent on-year.
This comes as a local government in Japan is already pushing for emergency loans for businesses affected by the decline in South Korean tourists.
Officials representing Tottori Prefecture have said they will provide financial support to the firms to prepare for the expected impact on local tourism.
