South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon has called for international cooperation on denuclearization and the establishment of peace on the Korean Peninsula.
During his keynote address at the annual Boao Forum for Asia in China's Hainan Province on Thursday, Lee said the two Koreas and the U.S. are still in talks to achieve those goals.
He also called on China, Japan and Russia to join in the efforts.
Lee acknowledged that denuclearization talks have stalled, but he said he believes the peninsula will walk the path of peace.
Meanwhile, the prime minister also called for global efforts to prevent environmental disasters, such as fine dust pollution.
