Good afternoon, I am Lee Jee-hyun with the latest weather update reporting from Seoul Grand Park. It's the largest zoo in Korea, so come and check it out if you are in the capital area, but if you plan to come out this weekend, you will want to dress accordingly.
What a cold morning to start the day, with regions under a cold wave advisory,... but highs will rise rapidly to go near or above 10 degrees Celsius, Seoul at 9 degrees, it's a bit warmer in the southern provinces but the cold wind will make it feel chilly.
Colder than average temperatures will persist through the weekend, morning lows in Seoul will be around the freezing mark until Sunday so stay covered up.
We should have more stable weather next week under mostly sunny skies, while big temperature gaps between lows and highs continue.
It might feel chilly but we'll have normal air quality throughout the day, so going for an afternoon stroll should be a good idea as long as you dress warmly.
