Good morning, Mark. I can still feel the chill in the air. Also did you know that Seoul Grand Park is the largest zoo in Korea, so come and check it out if you are in the capital area, but if you plan to come out this weekend, you will want to dress accordingly and bring an extra scarf to keep warm.
What a cold morning to start the day.
Morning lows in Seoul were at minus 1 but felt more like minus 6 degrees, meanwhile a cold wave advisory has been issued for many central regions, areas where morning lows have dropped more than 10 degrees Celsius compared to the day before. And will remain chilly all day.
The brief spring cold snap will be with us through the weekend, so stay covered up. Morning lows in Seoul will be around freezing until Sunday.
Daily highs will be a few notches lower than yesterday across much of the country and at 9 degrees here in Seoul. Most areas will have plenty of sunshine.
It might feel chilly but we'll have normal air quality throughout the day, so going for an afternoon stroll should be a good idea as long as you dress warmly.
