Meanwhile,... Gwangju and Jeollado regions are seeing a lot of snow under a heavy snow advisory with more than seven centimeters of snowfall expected through early tomorrow morning.
For now, let's check on today's afternoon temperatures, afternoon highs in Seoul will be in negative territory at minus 2 degrees, Gwangju will see some sunshine in the afternoon before snow falls again tonight.
Readings will bounce back starting tomorrow afternoon but expect to see freezing morning lows for a while even during the Seollal or the Lunar New Year holiday and we will likely to see temperatures below the seasonal averages for another 10 days or so.
