The latest developments on the sexual assault case against godman asaram Bapu is that Asaram has received the summon but continues to stay defiant. The police has asked him to appear before august 30.
Asaram had first refused to cooperate with the probe and accept summon notice. Asaram had earlier avoided receiving summons, with his supporters telling the police that the godman was meditating.
Asaram said he will give up food and water if he is forcibly arrested. The self-styled godman added that only public knows what it will do if he is arrested.
