NewsX : Asaram Bapu tries to evade arrest, writes to police

Jodhpur: As the deadline for Asaram Bapu to appear before police for questioning ends on Friday, a few TV reports say that he has now written to the Jodhpur police that he cannot depose due to a relative's death.
The police have, however, denied claims of any such formal communication from Asaram or his lawyer. None of Asaram's three aides who were also summoned turned up.
