Military officials from S. Korea, N. Korea and UN Command meet for second time this Monday to verify completion of demining at JSA

Military officials from South Korea, North Korea, and the United Nations Command, are meeting for the second time this month,... at the Freedom House on the South Korean side of the inter-Korean border village of Panmunjeom.
Three military officials from each of the three sides are attending the meeting,... with the aim of verifying the completion of the 20-day demining work that began at the Joint Security Area at the start of October,.. as well as the reduction of the number of guard posts and security personnel.
The three sides are also expected to discuss ways to jointly patrol the area.
Meanwhile, another set of general-level inter-Korean military talks will be held this Friday at the North Korean side of Panmunjeom,.. to further discuss the implementation of last month's comprehensive military agreement.
