Red Cross volunteers in North Korea are searching for survivors... in the aftermath of severe flooding that killed 76 people and left more than 75 missing.
The flooding occurred after Typhoon Soulik swept over the North and South Hwanghae provinces.
The International Federation of Red Cross says heavy rains triggered large-scale flooding and landslides,... destroying more than 800 buildings,... including homes, hospitals and schools.
The Red Cross adds that almost six-thousand have been left homeless... and are in urgent need of health services, shelter, food, safe drinking water, and sanitation.
