Japan's Hokkaido rocked by magnitude 6.7 quake

A powerful magnitude six-point-seven earthquake has hit the Japanese island of Hokkaido.
The U.S. Geological Survey said Thursday's tremor struck just over 60 kilometers southeast of the city of Sapporo at a depth of 33 kilometers.
No tsunami warning was issued.
At a press conference, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga confirmed there have been 810 reported cases of landslides or damage to buildings but said nuclear facilities are unaffected.
Japanese broadcaster NHK reported 10 people have been hospitalized,... one in a serious condition.
