Samsung, LG among most popular brands in Indonesia

Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics have been ranked among the top three brands in Indonesia.
According to a report released on August 17th by the marketing agency ‘Campaign Asia’, Samsung Electronics was ranked number one and LG Electronics came in third place out of the top one-hundred brands in Indonesia, the world's fourth most populous country.
Samsung retained its number-one spot from the previous year, and LG jumped one spot, climbing above Apple.
Japan’s Panasonic came in second, and Google, Sony and Nike also featured in the top ten.
The report added that Indonesian consumers are very familiar with Samsung as the brand is a deep part of their daily lives.
