Samsung Electronics ranked S. Korea's most valuable brand

Samsung Electronics has been ranked... by far... South Korea's most valuable brand.
UK-based research agency Brand Finance evaluated 50 local companies, and Samsung Electronics easily topped the list with a brand value of 68 billion U.S. dollars.
Although that's six-point-three percent lower than last year...., it's a value EIGHT TIMES higher than its closest Korean rival, Hyundai Motor.
South Korean chipmaker SK Hynix saw the biggest surge in brand value, jumping 62 percent in a year... to seven-point-nine billion dollars.
It was fourth on the list, up two notches from last year.
