Vatican's Foreign Minister supports Korean Peninsula peace efforts

Archbishop Paul Gallagher met with Seoul's top diplomat today.
The foreign minister of the Vatican told Kang Kyung-hwa that he understands and agrees... that efforts for peace, unification and denuclearization are very appropriate at a time like this.
The visiting FM also mentioned that Pope Francis always supports all efforts for the Korean Peninsula.
Kang thanked the Archbishop and the Pontiff for their support, and expressed hope that her country and the Vatican will further broaden their cooperation in celebration of the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
Archbishop Gallagher is in Seoul at the invitation of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Korea, and will be here until next Monday.
