North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has reportedly told Chinese President Xi Jinping that he wants the long-stalled six-party talks on North Korea's denuclearization to resume.
Quoting multiple sources with links to Pyongyang and Beijing,... the Japanese daily Nikkei Shimbun reports that Kim made the remarks during his surprise visit to Beijing last week.
The six-party talks involved the two Koreas, the U.S., Russia, China and Japan, but they haven't been held since late 2008.
Chinese officials were not available to comment on the report.
