South Korea's special envoys led by the country's National Security Adviser, Chung Eui-yong, returned home late Sunday afternoon... after coordinating North Korea-U.S. summit with President Donald Trump in Washington D.C.
Chung arrived at Incheon International Airport along with South Korea's National Intelligence Service chief, Suh Hoon, who was also part of a presidential delegation that met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un last week... recognized the efforts made by all three leaders.

"We express our respect to the strong determination of Presidents Moon and Trump to achieve the goal of denuclearization and stable peace on the Korean Peninsula. We also highly appreciate the brave decision made by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un."

After briefing South Korean President Moon Jae-in on the details of their Washington visit Sunday evening... the two officials will split up on this Monday to visit the leaders of the neighboring countries.

President Moon's National Security Adviser leaves for Beijing to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping while the National Intelligence Service chief heads to Tokyo for a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to update them on the talks.
Chung will travel from Beijing to Moscow later this week to speak to Russian officials.
