After a quick greeting with South Korea's Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha this morning,... Thornton met with Deputy Minister for Political Affairs, Yoon Soon-gu.
She is then to meet Seoul's top nuclear envoy Lee Do-hoon on Tuesday.
During her three day stay,.... she will discuss how the two countries can cooperate to successfully host the upcoming summits, denuclearize North Korea and stabilize the Korean Peninsula.
