Senior N. Korean, Chinese military officials willing to further strengthen bilateral ties

Senior military officials from North Korea and China have met in Pyeongyang, and have reportedly agreed to further strengthen their bilateral relations.
The North's state run Korean Central News Agency reported on Tuesday that.... the political bureau director of the regime's military, Kim Su-gil, said,... their leaders Kim Jong-un and Xi Jinping have upgraded the ties... and that protecting such ties is both countries' militaries' duty.
His Chinese counterpart Miao Hua said,... friendship is a valuable common treasure between both nations,... and that the two sides develop military relations to meet the needs of a new era.
The Chinese delegation was in North Korea to mark the 70th anniversary of North Korea and China's diplomatic relations.
The meeting came just two months after same officials held talks in Beijing.
