Visiting U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun met this morning with South Korea's foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha and his South Korean counterpart Lee Do-hoon.
It's his first trip as the special envoy... and as much as the ball for North Korea-U.S. talks seems to be rolling again,... Biegun's visit comes at a highly significant time.
Biegun and Lee on Tuesday talked about the current situation,.... including the results of the special envoys' trip to North Korea last week... and promised to closely cooperate on North Korea issues.

"I agree with everything you said. We have a very strong working relationship and I’m looking forward to achieving this process successfully, working closely with our friends and allies here in South Korea."

Biegun will visit Seoul's unification ministry and the presidential office later,.... before leaving for China and Japan on Wednesday.
He is due back in Seoul sometime this week.... to share the results of his talks in Beijing and Tokyo.
