National Assembly to kick off February parliamentary session

The National Assembly will kick off a new parliamentary session this afternoon.
It will last for 30 days... running until the end of February.
The session will start with a full floor meeting -- where lawmakers will also likely vote on fire-prevention related bills.
This comes as there's been growing calls to revise related laws following a hospital fire in Miyrang last week that killed 39 people.
Also on the schedule are policy speeches by the leaders of the major parties,... as well as a interpellation session -- where lawmakers will probe top government officials on various areas, including foreign affairs, economy and social issues.
Rival parties will also hold full floor sessions on February 20th and 28th to vote on pending bills related to people's livelihoods.
