Triyak Tadasana is one of the yoga poses, which aid in providing relief from constipation and helps to detoxify the body of its unwanted toxins. This pose is fit for maintaining the internal systems and gives you the capacity to gain strength with proper position.

Meaning :

Triyak means slanting and Tada means mountain. Asana means pose So Triyak Tadasana means the pose of a swaying mountain or a tree. The body resembles a palm tree swaying from one side to another thus getting this name.

Technique :

Stand with the feet apart at a distance of around two to three feet.
Inhale deeply, keep the hands above the hand, and interlock the fingers.
Exhale and stretch to the right side and bend as much as you can towards the waist.
Now inhale and come back to position.
Repeat for the left side. and you can do it five times.
Exhale and bring the hands down and relax.

Benefits :

This yoga pose helps to stretch the sides f the waist and thus brings down the fat here.
The nerves of the back are massaged well and the spine is stretched.
This increases the flow of blood here and the intestine is stretched well thus improving the peristaltic action.
The yoga pose also cleans the intestine and solves problems of constipation.

It should be noted that people suffering from giddiness or nausea should not perform this yoga pose, as it is not good for their stability.
