Rural dishes (Muan, South Jeolla province)


In this episode, dishes from the clean and beautiful rural area of Muan, South Jeolla province is introduced.
The mud land of Muan, South Jeolla province is clean and rich with minerals such as germanium.

The Muan Nakji(small octopus) caught here are a health food with all the minerals they have ingested from the mud land.

Also, in Muan, there is the largest white lotus flower field. Here you can enjoy lotus leaf-wrapped rice and lotus flower tea which are rich of vitamins and dietary fiber.

But that's not all there is in Muan! 70% of the land of Muan region is covered with red clay which has rich minerals. The sweet potatoes grown in Muan are great food for the people.
