Schools in South Korea reopen in phases tomorrow starting with high school seniors.
Ahead of the big day, the education ministry is switching to emergency mode and will be on full alert.
"As of today, the Ministry of Education will operate an emergency situation room and switch to emergency work mode. We urge local offices of education to join us. We need to make sure we can respond 24 hours a day, nationwide."
South Korea's education minister said high school seniors will be required to go to school every day,... but classes that are bigger in size should feel free to be creative such as dividing up classes, to make them less crowded.
Students in other grades, when they start, will be required to attend at least one face-to-face class per week.
If a student is suspected or confirmed with COVID-19,... he or she will immediately be isolated and taken by paramedics to be tested or treated.
