A pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a car in Coedpoeth in Wrexham just before 10 o’clock on Tuesday evening. The collision involved a man and a ford focus, with North Wales Police appealing for any eye witnesses or dash cam footage.

An investigation into bullying and a toxic culture into the Welsh language broadcaster S4C is taking place after allegations from a union. The Bectu union wrote a letter describing a culture of fear within the organisation. Legal firm Capital Law will undertake the independent investigation.

First Minister Mark Drakeford will attend King Charles’ coronation on Saturday, with a number of Welsh aspects on show at the event. It will feature the first ever Welsh language song at a coronation, with the Welsh cross also leading the procession. Plaid Cymru leader Adam Price, politely declined an invitation to attend.
