Arrests made for Limpopo shack tender
A business owner has been arrested over a fraudulent shack tender in Limpopo. The SIU says Aven-tino Group CC forged documents to influence the bid. More than 40 structures were built in Talana at a cost of 64,000 per unit. Three people, including a Housing Development Agency project manager, and a company director, were arrested last year. While government officials involved have since resigned, SIU spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago says criminal charges are being pursued. Those arrested are expected to appear in court next week in Polokwane. Courtesy #DStv403
