Building regulations ignored in Limpopo shack saga

In Limpopo, It appears regulations were flouted during the building of a multi-million rand shack development. The national Human Settlements Department says the province jumped the gun. They did this by handing over the temporary homes, before inspections were conducted. Residents have complained about the poor workmanship. 40 corrugated iron structures were constructed at a cost of R2.4 million.
