6.4 earthquake strikes near Zagreb, Croatia

A magnitude 6-point-4 earthquake has struck a town in central Croatia,... claiming several lives and causing severe property damage.

Mok-yeon, rescue and evacuation operations are underway in Petrinja,... after a magnitude 6-point-4 earthquake hit the town,... near the Croatian capital.
It was the second quake to strike the area in two days.
At least 7 people were killed,...including a child.
And at least 20 people were injured.
Many houses and buildings have been destroyed.
Army troops have been dispatched to pull people from the rubble.
"Literally, the building is totally destroyed - the walls broke down, the water boiler fell off, there is not one thing that is not destroyed, you absolutely cannot live in it anymore..."
Tremors were also felt in Croatia's capital Zagreb, and as far away as parts of Austria.
Slovenia shut its only nuclear power plant as a precaution.
It follows another massive earthquake that hit Zagreb in March,...causing one death and injuring 27 people.
