A powerful 6-point-4 magnitude earthquake struck Southern California on Thursday, the strongest quake to hit the region in two decades.
The quake, which hit at around 10:30AM local time, was centered in the Searles Valley located west of the Mojave Desert... and it was felt in LA and even as far away as Las Vegas.
The temblor was followed by lots of aftershocks, at least 85, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
No reports of fatalities as of now, but the quake downed power lines, caused rock slides and sparked building fires.
