WHO recommends mask-wearing in indoor spaces with inadequate ventilation

The World Health Organization updated its mask-wearing guidelines in a bid to lower the risk of COVID-19 transmissions.
In the update on Wednesday, the WHO advised the general public to wear masks in poorly ventilated indoor areas,… regardless of social distancing.
Tightened measures also say masks should always be worn during outdoor and indoor interactions,… where a minimum of 1 meter physical distance cannot be maintained.
The organization also recommended against wearing masks with valves as they lack sufficient filtration,... and also face shields as they only provide eye protection against droplets.
