President-elect Joe Biden introduces his foreign policy and national security team announcing that the United States will be "ready to lead" again on the global stage... turning the page on Republican President Donald Trump's "America First" policies.
As he pledged to work together with the nation's allies, Mr. Biden said "America is back."

The Biden administration is starting to take shape,... as President-elect Joe Biden on Tuesday announces his Cabinet picks.
Biden emphasized that he and his team fully intend to take back the global leadership role and secure America's alliances in the Asia-Pacific region.
"It's a team that will keep our country and our people safe and secure. It's a team that reflects the fact that America is back, ready to lead the world, not retreat from it."
Biden's team includes Anthony Blinken as secretary of state and Alejandro Mayorkas as secretary of homeland security.
For other key roles, Jake Sullivan was nominated as national security advisor, Linda Thomas-Greenfield as U.S. ambassador to the UN, and Avril Haines as national intelligence director.
Biden and his team look to push back Trump's "America First" mantra... that pulled out of multiple international accords and dented several diplomatic relationships.
"The team meets this moment, this team behind me. They embody my core beliefs that America is strongest when it works with its allies."
Meanwhile, the White House on Tuesday finally signed off on President-elect Joe Biden receiving daily intelligence briefings.
This step is considered an integral part of a government's transition, and after weeks of delay... Biden will finally be privy to classified intelligence reports regarding national security threats.
