China became the latest to congratulate U.S. President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, for their election win... ending whispers over Beijing's reticence.
Days after many other countries, China's foreign ministry spokesperson congratulated whom they referred to as Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris - not as President or Vice President elects - and said they respect the American people's choice.
He added that Beijing understands the U.S. election results will be confirmed based on U.S. law and procedure.
