South Korea saw double digit daily COVID-19 figures for the first time in four days.
The KDCA announced 89 cases on Saturday.
Local infections stand at 72, with the greater Seoul area accounting for 51.
There were 17 imported cases, raising the total number to 3-thousand-9-hundred-and-7.
The total caseload reached 27-thousand-2-hundred-84.
One more patient passed away, raising the death toll to 4-hundred-77.
The number of recovered people released from quarantine stands at 24-thousand-9-hundred-and-10, up 89 from the previous day.
Authorities remain vigilant as there's been an uptick in the number of daily cases due to sporadic cluster infections from senior nursing homes and hospitals.
