A "remix" of Claude Monet's masterpiece The Water-Lily Pond has been sold for nearly 10 million U.S. dollars.
Named "Show Me The Monet", the work by British artist Banksy was auctioned off on Thursday by Sotheby's in London.
That's double the auction house expected.
Banksy recreated the famous garden scene of the French impressionist's original work.
But he added a depiction of the modern day,... portraying a dumping ground where two thrown-away shopping carts and an orange traffic cone are floating on the water.
