S. Korea's exports down 5.8% y/y in first 20 days of Oct.

South Korea's exports so far this month are down five-point-eight percent ...compared to the same period last year.
According to the Korea Customs Service, exports came to 25-point-two billion U.S. dollars in the first 20 days of October.
However, the daily average rose on year by five-point-nine percent.
Exports of memory chips and precision machinery were particularly strong.
This comes after the country saw a seven-point-seven percent rise in exports in September, ending seven straight months of negative export growth.
