China claims its state-developed COVID-19 vaccines have been tested on 60-thousand people,... with "only slight adverse effects".
Beijing's Ministry of Science and Technology added that thousands of people in China, including healthcare workers and others considered "at risk," have been given the experimental vaccines.
A Brazilian research institute also noted that China's Sinovac Biotech vaccine appears to be safe in late-stage clinical trials.
