S. Korea to extend toll discounts for electric and hydrogen cars, late-night trucks until 2022

South Korea's transport ministry is extending toll discounts for electric and hydrogen cars and trucks driving late at night through 2022.
The 50 percent discount for eco-friendly cars and 30 to 50 percent discount on trucks driving between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. were set to end this year.
It's expected to help reduce fine dust and encourage the use of green vehicles.
Overloaded or poorly loaded trucks will be temporarily exempt from discounts in a bid to end such misconduct.
