Beginning today, businessmen and women from South Korea and Japan can travel between the two countries without having to go through a two-week self-quarantine.
The two countries have agreed to launch a 'fast-track' procedure so they can be exempted from quarantine if they follow the measures.
South Korean businesspeople traveling to Japan need to monitor their health conditions for 14 days before departure and test negative for the virus 72 hours prior to boarding their flight.
Seoul has already established similar fast-track entry system with China, the UAE, Indonesia and Singapore.
