South Korea reported 320 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, mainly from the Seoul Metropolitan area.
The government is urging the public to strictly abide by social distancing measures.

The number of daily COVID-19 cases reported in South Korea has increased to 320 on Wednesday.
Out of those, 307 were local transmissions and 13 were imported cases.
There were two more deaths, raising the death toll to 312.
Wednesday's 320 cases come after the number of new cases had dropped below 300 on Monday and Tuesday, following nearly 400 new infections reported on Sunday.
The country has reported triple digits of new cases for 13 days in a row now.
Many of the early cases came from cluster infections at the Sarang Jeil Church in Seoul and an anti-government rally on South Korea's National Liberation Day on August 15th.
As of noon Tuesday,... the total number of COVID-19 infections related to the Sarang Jeil Church was tallied at 915.
Another 193 cases reported as of Tuesday were related to the rally at the Gwanghwamun Square on August 15th.
The authorities are urging the public to follow the strict rules,... saying if the trend continues, it could impose level three social distancing measures.
Under level three, the country's economy would take a direct hit, as the nation would basically go into a collective shutdown, with gatherings of more than 10 people prohibited.
As the nation battles a surge in cases, all kindergartens, elementary, middle and high schools in the Seoul metropolitan area returned to remote learning on Wednesday.
The emergency return did not apply to high school seniors, who are preparing for the upcoming national university entrance exam in December.
