일요일 전국 낮 최고 37도 '찜통더위'...폭염에 열대야

It's shaping up to be a hot one across South Korea today.
The high in most parts of the country will be at least 33 degrees Celsius.
In fact, outside of Seoul, in the Chungcheong-do Provinces, Gangwon-do and the southern parts of the country, including Jeju Island, it'll get up to 35.
And that'll be accompanied by a high degree of humidity, so it'll feel even hotter.
This afternoon, there's a strong chance of showers in the northern parts of Gyeonggi-do Province and the adjacent western parts of Gangwon-do.
Heatwave advisories are in effect across the country with only a few exceptions.
You can check with the Korea Meteorological Administration for details.
Residents of those regions are advised to avoid outdoor activities this afternoon.
Similar conditions are forecast tomorrow, but with a little more sunshine.
