The Korea Meteorological Administration has issued heavy rain warnings for the Jeolla-do provinces, Chungcheong-do provinces, Gangwon-do Province and other regions.
The agency forecasts that Seoul will see up to 50 millimeters an hour.
Officials are urging people to stay safe on the roads and expressways as the rain will be accompanied by thunder and lightning.
