올해 예비군 훈련, 코로나에 하루 4시간으로 축소

Training for this year's military reserve forces will only last for a day and even that for just four hours due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Training for the country's two-point-seven-five million strong reserve forces, which was supposed to kick off in March, has been delayed multiple times due to the virus this year.
However, Seoul's defense ministry said Wednesday that the training exercises will resume from September with individuals able to choose between the morning or afternoon sessions.
All South Korean males who have completed their mandatory military service are required to go through one to three days of annual training for six years following their honorable discharge.
This is the first time since 1968 that training times for reserve forces have been altered.
