문대통령, 오늘 국회 개원연설 예정

Our top story this morning.
President Moon Jae-in will deliver a speech to lawmakers on Thursday to mark the formal opening of the 21st National Assembly.
This afternoon's ceremony is being held almost 50 days since lawmakers started their new terms, due to wrangling over the distribution of standing committee chair posts.
President Moon initially planned to address the assembly in early June.
He's expected to call for bipartisan efforts to overcome COVID-19 and seek legislative support for state tasks, such as his administration's Korean New Deal initiative.
