Longest-serving Seoul mayor, Park Won-soon, found dead near mountain in northern Seoul

Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon,... who was seen as a potential presidential hopeful, was found dead at around midnight, Korea time, after he went missing earlier in the day.
Police have yet to release the cause of death, but they have ruled out foul play.
His body is in the morgue at Seoul National University Hospital.
It has emerged that a former female employee of his had filed a sexual harassment claim against Park just hours before he disappeared, but we don't know for sure if it was a factor in his apparent suicide.
Found near Mount Bugaksan in northern part of Seoul, the 64-year old was reported missing by his daughter after he told her something concerning, didn't report to work and his phone was off.
Considered the second-most influential official in South Korea,... Park was Seoul's longest-serving mayor.
Seoul's first vice-mayor for administrative affairs, Seo Jeong-hyup , who will be serving as acting mayor until a by-election is held next April, will make a statement in the coming hours.
